The Nāpili Village Hotel briefly re-opened on March 1, 2020 after closing for two months to undergo renovations. In addition to correcting electrical, plumbing, and pool issues, we repainted all rooms and furnished the interiors with brand new furniture, housewares, bedding, towels, and ceiling fans.

We're a small, family-owned hotel, and we make it a priority to maintain clear and open communication with our staff, our vendors, and our guests. We do provide our employees with paid sick leave, and anyone who may have symptoms of illness at any time will not work at the hotel property until appropriate tests are conducted and a full recovery has been made.


We use a professional cleaning service to clean our rooms. Before the cleaning team even enters a room, it is ventilated for at least a day. It is our policy not to book any rooms back-to-back.


All members of the cleaning team wash or sanitize their hands prior to entering the unit, and fresh disposable gloves are used during every cleaning. Vacuums and mops are sanitized between each cleaning.


Wiping down surfaces is done with the utmost care and attention. A diluted bleach solution is used to clean the kitchens and bathrooms, and Micro Chem Plus (approved by the EPA to kill Covid-19) is used on all other high touch surfaces. The areas of emphasis include: 

• Door/cabinet handles

• Light switches
• Toilets, sinks, showers

• Shower Curtains
• Fans & pull chains
• Small appliances
• Keys
• Chair backs & armrests

• Remote controls
• Window handles

• Railings
• Faucets
• Trash Cans
• Countertops 
• Hairdryers

• A/C units & filters
• Floors


In addition, the cleaning team: 

• Replaces all linens, blankets, towels, sponges, and amenities
• Replaces all partially used toilet paper and paper towels
• Vacuums and mops the floors
• Washes all dishes with dish soap and a fresh sponge
• Scrubs all sink basins, toilets, tubs, and shower doors


One advantage to being a smaller property is that we have just a handful of common areas. They include the ‘ohana room, laundry room, pool deck, and office. We have increased the number of times our staff wipes down high-contact surfaces and furniture in these areas daily with the appropriate disinfectants.

We offer disposable disinfecting wipes in the guest amenities baskets, and we’ve made hand soap and hand towels more readily available in the rooms. The wipes have become difficult to source due to high demand, so we encourage you to utilize any personal products you bring with you.

During your stay with us, we encourage each of our guests to practice common sense safety and social distancing precautions. Our number one priority is to provide a safe and welcoming place to stay while you enjoy the beauty, adventure, and culture that surrounds us here at the Nāpili Village Hotel, a place of ho‘omaha (rest, respite). That’s a promise we intend to keep.
